This Privacy Policy explains how the Rostrik mobile application ("Rostrik", "the app", "we", "us", "our") handles information. Rostrik is operated by Rostrik Pty. Ltd., based in Queensland, Australia.

The short version
Rostrik is designed to work entirely on your device. We have built it so that you do not have to create an account, and so that your roster, shifts, alarms and settings stay on your phone. We do not run servers that store your personal information, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
The rest of this document explains this in the detail required by app stores and privacy law.
1. Information the app accesses and stores on your device
To do its job, Rostrik stores the following information locally on your device only:
Shift and roster data you enter (shift times, presets, patterns and related notes).
Alarm and notification settings, including auto-alarm offsets and alarm bundles you configure.
App preferences such as theme and display options.
This information is stored on your device using your device's local storage. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party by the app. If you uninstall Rostrik, this information is removed from your device.
2. Device permissions Rostrik requests, and why
Rostrik asks for the following permissions. Each is used solely to deliver the feature described and not for any other purpose:
Calendar access — so that Rostrik can read and/or write shift events to your device's calendar at your request. Calendar data accessed by Rostrik stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Alarms and reminders / exact alarm scheduling — so that alarms fire reliably at the times you set.
Notifications — so that Rostrik can display alarm and reminder notifications.
Run at startup / background operation — so that scheduled alarms survive a device restart.
You can review and revoke these permissions at any time in your device's system settings. Revoking a permission may stop the related feature from working.
3. Information we collect about you
We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, or share any personal information about you. Rostrik operates entirely offline and does not send your roster, shifts, settings, calendar data, or any identifiers to us or to any third party. We do not use advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting services in the app.
4. How we use information
Because Rostrik stores your data on your device, that data is used only to provide the app's features to you — scheduling alarms, displaying your roster, and managing your settings. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app on your device.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. Because your data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us, there is no personal information for us to share or disclose. We may disclose information only where required to do so by law.
6. Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained on your device for as long as Rostrik is installed. You control it directly:
To delete specific data, remove the relevant shifts, presets or settings within the app.
To delete all app data, clear the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstall Rostrik.
7. Children
Rostrik is intended for use by adults in a workforce context and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
We have designed Rostrik so that your information stays on your device, which avoids the risks associated with transmitting and storing personal data on external servers. The security of data on your device also depends on your own device security (such as your screen lock and operating system updates). No method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
You have rights under Australian privacy law, and you may have additional rights under other laws (such as the GDPR if you are in the EU/UK). Because Rostrik stores your data on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly by accessing, correcting or deleting your data within the app or your device settings. 10. International users
Rostrik is operated from Australia. Because your data stays on your device, your information is not transferred internationally by us.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here, and where appropriate, within the app.
